A room to say what you've been carrying
Most men do their hardest thinking alone. In the car. At 2 AM. On the third beer.
You keep working over the same problem, hoping one more hour of thinking will give you an answer. Months pass. You take the same drive home and lie awake having the same conversation with yourself.
A retreat is a set block of time where you don't have to. You set aside a morning or a weekend with other men, with enough time to say the part you keep leaving out. We pay attention to what's happening in your body as you speak, because thinking harder hasn't changed it.
No chanting, no chest-beating, no group hug you didn't ask for.
CORE itself started at a weekend like this. Most of the men arrived as strangers. I watched them stop giving the short version and say what was actually happening in their lives.

The Monthly Open Circle
One Saturday morning a month. Two hours, on Zoom, from wherever you are.
We begin with a check-in and one simple practice that brings your attention to your body. Then each man gets time to speak. This isn't a webinar. Everyone takes part.
You don't need any experience. You need a quiet room, headphones, and a camera you're willing to turn on.
It's free. Bring a friend; any man who could use a morning like this is welcome.
Next circle: Saturday 2026-08-01, 9:00 to 11:00 AM Eastern.
The full picture and the RSVP live on the Open Circle page. Save a seat there and the Zoom link comes by email before the morning.

The Men's Weekend
Once a year, in November, I host an in-person weekend at a house in New Jersey.
Two nights. Eight to twelve men. We share meals, sit around the fire, and spend longer blocks of time working together than we can on Zoom. The hard part does not have to get squeezed into the last ten minutes.
Most men come because a friend brought them, but you don't need to know anyone there. You don't need any experience with this work.
$395 covers your room and your food for the whole weekend. That's what the house and meals cost. I'd rather fill every room than make a profit on the weekend.
Booking isn't open yet. It opens when the November date locks.
Interested in a sacred men's retreat?
A sacred men's retreat is centered on spiritual or ceremonial practice. I don't run one. Email me and I can point you toward people who do.
