Open Circle

A free monthly gathering of men. Two hours on Zoom, one Saturday morning a month. Every man gets room to say what's real, and nobody tries to fix anybody.

What this is

Once a month I open my circle to any man who wants to sit with us. Some of the men have been doing this work together for years. Some are there for the first time. Everyone checks in the same way.

This is not a course and not a workshop. There is no curriculum, nothing is for sale, and nobody will chase you afterward. It's a gathering. Two hours of men being honest with each other, then we go back to our Saturdays.

What the two hours look like

• We landA few quiet minutes to arrive and slow down, so you're not walking in straight from your inbox.
• Check-in roundEvery man gets a few minutes to say what's real for him right now. I go first, so you can hear what it sounds like before your turn comes. Passing is always fine.
• One simple practiceSomething short you can do sitting in a chair. Nothing strange, nothing to get wrong.
• Open sharesThe floor opens. Men speak when something is there, and the rest of us listen without fixing.

Who it's for

Any man. You don't need experience with men's groups, therapy, or any of this. If you can sit with a few honest men for two hours, that's enough.

Friends of friends are welcome. If a friend sent you this page, you're already invited. And if there's a man you'd want beside you, bring him.

Some of the men in the room come from CORE, the year-round community I run. Nobody will pitch you on it.
